Introduction
In addition to Federal and NYS financial aid, SUNY Empire students can also apply for various scholarships offered through the FAST page. When a student fills out the general application, they will be automatically considered for scholarship opportunities for which they qualify, based on their academic record and their responses on the application form.
Note: Applications for scholarships for 2023-24 will open on April 12, 2023. Students will not be able to submit an application prior to that date.
1. Login to the MySUNYEmpire Student Portal
2. Click on the icon for Financial Aid under My Student Business:
3. On the Financial Aid page, click on the icon for Apply for Scholarships (FAST):
4. From the FAST homepage, click on the Sign In button:
5. After you sign in, complete the General Application found on the My Applications tab:
6. Once your application is complete, click Finish and Submit at the bottom of the page. You can return to the FAST page at any time prior to the application closing date to update your application or provide additional information.
After submitting the general application, other recommended opportunities may populate after the auto-match. Students can apply for the conditional applications by using the red apply button on the right side:
