Introduction
This guide will show you how to set up an electronic transmission of your 1098-T tax document (e-Consent). Please Note: Enrolling in electronic delivery before January 1st will take effect immediately and for all subsequent years. Enrolling after January 1st will take effect for the following tax year reporting.
- At the top right of the page click Register to create a profile. If you already have a profile, click Sign In.
- Once logged into your account, navigate to Your Communication Center at the top.
- Select Tax Statement eConsent.
- At the bottom of the page click Add New Consent. The Electronic Consent Application will open below.
- Complete the Electronic Consent Application.
- Check the box and click Submit & Accept.



Please Note: Students may rescind their consent by contacting Heartland ECSI or by signing into their ECSI eConsent record.
