OnTheHub.com - How to Register

 

Relevant To: ESC Students, Faculty and Staff

Introduction

 

OnTheHub provides students, faculty and staff with discounted or free productivity software from various vendors such as Adobe products.  

Please Note: The university provides a Microsoft 365 license to all enrolled students. Please do not purchase any Office products such as Word, Excel, etc.

You can get started by navigating to the main page using the following link: https://www.onthehub.com

Selecting a College
 

Once on the main page, you will need to hover your mouse over ‘FIND YOUR SCHOOL’ at the top and click on 'College & University’.

 

This will bring you to the page that contains a short form where you need to search and choose SUNY Empire State University as your school.

• Choose the Country, State, School (just type in ‘Empire’) 

• Choose the ‘SUNY, SUNY Empire State University’ option.
   
  • Please Note: (Do not choose SUNY Empire State University - SUNY. Selecting this option will prompt an error. If you are looking for Microsoft Development Tools for Education to access software for specific academic programs.

• Once the school is selected, Click on the following link below will appear which will bring you to the ESC web store page.

 

Account Registration
 

The first time you are in the SUNY Empire State University web store, you will need to Register with the website.

• Click on the 'Register' link located on the top right corner of the page which is shown in the screenshot below.

 

 

• Enter your university email address in the field for Orgaization-Issued Email Address. Only students and faculty/staff of participating schools are eligible to place orders on this WebStore.

• Click to continue to navigate to the account registration page which will require additional information to be supplied. Choose the proper group: Student or Faculty member.

• A confirmation email will be  sent to the email account you provided, to verify and activate your account.

Account Activation

After you complete the registration phase, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account. When your account is verified and activated, you will have access to various software packages and deals that are available to you as a student or as a faculty member. If you registered as a student, you will only be able to take advantage of the student deals, if you registered as a faculty member, you will only be able to take advantage of the faculty deals.

 

Please Note:  To return to onthehub.com in the future, you will sign in with your university email and the password you created for this site during activation.

 

• Click on either the Students or Faculty/Staff tab to view your available software deals.

 

 Please Note:  OnTheHub.com is a third party vendor.  All transactions and technical support, including password management, for the On the Hub website, are the responsibility of Kivuto.  SUNY Empire State University only provides instruction to access the website.
