Introduction
This document describes how to navigate to a student's Financial Aid award and messages.
1. Log on to the portal at my.sunyempire.edu and start on the Student Home page.
2. Under Manage My Account select the Financial Aid icon.

3. Next select the Self Service Banner icon.

4. Select the Financial Aid button, then choose the Award box and then select Award for Aid Year.

5. Select the Aid year from the drop down list and click on the Submit button.

6. Select Overall Financial Aid Status as indicated by the arrow below.

Financial Aid information and any messages regarding Financial Aid appear on this screen.
