How to Download Office/Microsoft 365

Introduction
Students will receive a Microsoft 365 license from Microsoft on the first day of the first term that a student registers for a course and enrolls in a course.
How to Download Microsot 365
1. Navigate to the Microsoft Sign In page.
2. Sign in with your SUNY Empire Email address and Password. You will need to authenticate to get into the page.
3 On the far right of the screen, select the button labeled "Install and More".
4. On the drop down box that appears, select "Install Microsoft 365 apps"
5. On the next screen, navigate to Install Office (you can also see what devices you have Microsoft 365 signed into, and sign out if necessary)
This will download a file to your computer. Check your Download files. You need to open that file.
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to install. Just follow the program prompts as you go along.
8. If you receive and error message or the program does not install properly, uninstall Office 365 and re-install it.
