Using Launch Editor

Introduction

Launch Editor allows you to do basic editing such as cropping or splitting of videos in your MyMedia in Learnscape.

The follow steps below go thorough how to use Launch Editor.

Launch Editor

Log in to Learnscape, choose My Media, under your profile name, and scroll to the video you want to edit.

In that video, from the Edit dropdown menu, choose Launch Editor.

  1. Library thumbnail of video.
  2. Preview video window to scrub video and find intended editing areas.
  3. The Scissor shaped tool cuts within the video to take out intended areas. The Beginning and Ending Crop icons let you change  the starting and ending point of the video.
  4. Choosing Save will permanently change the media while choosing Save a Copy will make a new version of the video with your edits.
