Introduction
This KB article provides information for how to withdraw from the University. Students who wish to no longer be a student or choose not to attend Empire State University must complete this form. If you choose to come back to SUNY Empire, you will have to reapply and be accepted to the University.
Please note: if you are withdrawing completely from the University and are currently registered in courses, you must first withdraw from those courses before your withdrawal from the university can be processed.
From the Student Home, scroll down to My Student Business and click the Registrar’s Office icon.
Locate the Registration Guidance section of the Registrar’s Home Page. Withdrawal from the University form is linked at the bottom.
Complete and send. Submission details are given in the form. Once your form is processed by the Office of the Registrar, you will receive a copy of the completed form.
