The following article presents students with information on how to satisfy Asset Information Needed regarding their financial aid
FAFSA
After reviewing your financial aid file, we noticed that you skipped some asset questions on your FAFSA.
Please email the Financial Aid office at financialaid@sunyempire.edu with answers to these three questions:
- What is the total current balance of cash, savings, and checking accounts for you (and your spouse or parent) as of today? Exclude student aid.
- What is the net worth of your (and your spouse's or parent’s) investments, including real estate, as of today? Exclude the home you live in. Net worth is current value minus debt.
- What is the net worth of your (and your spouse's or parent’s) current business and/or investment farms as of today? Do not include a family farm or business with 100 or fewer full-time employees.
PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR FAFSA.
