Introduction

Graduate PLUS Loan counseling is an entrance counseling session required for all first time Graduate PLUS Loan borrowers. It is designed to educate borrowers about:

  • Your rights and responsibilities as a loan recipient

  • How interest accrues on your loan

  • Repayment options and time lines

  • Managing loan debt responsibly

This counseling ensures that you understand the terms of your loan and are prepared to repay it after you leave school or drop below half time enrollment

How to Complete the Counseling Form

  • Understanding how graduate loans work
  • Responsibilities for repayment
  • Loan disbursement and billing procedures
