Steps to making a tutoring appointment with a SUNY Empire Learning Coach (university employee).
How to Schedule a Tutoring Appointment with a SUNY Empire Learning Coach
- Go to the TracCloud dashboard.
- Login with your SUNY Empire login.
- Find the Dashboard box that says “schedule an appointment”.

- Choose “Find first available immediately” or “Choose a Date & Center”.
- Then “Choose a subject” – your current courses will show here. You may choose one of those, or Other or Incomplete, as needed.
- Now select an option from “Choose a service/reason”. For instance, if looking for help with a paper, click “Writing Help…” then “Paper”. Choose OK.
- Now Press “Search”.
- Available appointments will appear as Green bars. Tutor’s name, time and date are shown, as well as whether the appointment can be made in person, online, or either.
- Click a green bar to select an appointment, or click the orange bar to load more appointments.

- After selecting a green box the following screen will appear:

Before clicking the “Save” button on this screen:
- A. Confirm that the box next to the words “Is Online” is checked if you would like to meet with the tutor online in Zoom. In cases where the tutor is also available in person, this box can be unchecked and the tutor’s in-person location will appear. If it cannot be unchecked, the tutor is only available online for this time slot.
- B. Add a note for the tutor, if desired.
- C. Add a note about accommodations you need, if desired.
- D. Upload a document to the meeting, if desired.
- Now, click “Save” to schedule your appointment.
- You will receive a confirmation email containing a meeting link via email.
