Introduction

Brightspace makes it easy to create and rearrange your course content using a drag and drop feature. You can move and reorder modules and topics by dragging and dropping.

Move and Reorder Modules and Topics

Dragging and dropping content is a quick way of reorganizing course modules using a simple mouse click. When you drag a module or content above or below other modules and topics, a blue line appears to indicate you can drop the module or content there. If you drag a module or content over another module, the module appears blue to indicate you can drop it there.

To move a content item within a module:

  1. Hover your cursor to the left of the title, until it is over the four rows of two dots.
  2. Your cursor will turn from an arrow to a series of cross arrows.
  3. Click and drag the content up or down to relocate it.
  4. Drop the content in your desired location. Use the blue lines as a guide.
  5. When finished, the notification window prompt at the bottom of the page "Moved successfully"will appear.
