Introduction
The Bcc field is disabled by default in the Microsoft Outlook program and the Outlook Web App.
Instructions for enabling Bcc in the Microsoft Outlook program:
- Launch the Microsoft Outlook program
- Locate the 'New Email' button in the ribbon at the top of the window
- Select the 'New Email' button
- Locate the 'Options' tab in the ribbon at the top of the window
- Select the 'Options' tab
- Locate the 'Bcc' button in the ribbon at the top of the window
- Select the 'Bcc' button
Instructions for enabling Bcc in the Outlook Web App:
- Log into the Outlook Web App at https://outlook.office.com/sunyempire.edu using your SUNY Empire email address and password
- Locate the 'New' button above your list of emails
- Select the 'New' button
- Locate the 'To' line near the top of the window
- Look to the right of the 'To' line and locate the small button for 'Bcc'
- Select the 'Bcc' button
