How do I enable the BCC feature

Enabling the Blind Carbon Copy (Bcc) Feature in Outlook

Introduction

The Bcc field is disabled by default in the Microsoft Outlook program and the Outlook Web App.

Instructions for enabling Bcc in the Microsoft Outlook program:

1. Launch the Microsoft Outlook program
2. Locate the 'New Email' button in the ribbon at the top of the window
3. Select the 'New Email' button
4. Locate the 'Options' tab in the ribbon at the top of the window
5. Select the 'Options' tab
6. Locate the 'Bcc' button in the ribbon at the top of the window
7. Select the 'Bcc' button

Instructions for enabling Bcc in the Outlook Web App:

1. Log into the Outlook Web App at https://outlook.office.com/sunyempire.edu using your SUNY Empire email address and password
2. Locate the 'New' button above your list of emails
3. Select the 'New' button
4. Locate the 'To' line near the top of the window
5. Look to the right of the 'To' line and locate the small button for 'Bcc'
6. Select the 'Bcc' button
