Introduction

Using the Self-Service Banner system, mentors can send their primary mentees an email from a single screen. Note: be sure to allow pop-ups on your web browser.

Log in to the MySUNYEmpire Portal

  • In your web browser, go to this address -> my.esc.edu
  • Enter your College credentials (username and password)
  • Click on the “B” button to log in to the Self-Service Banner system

  • Click on the Faculty Services button:

  • Click on the Advising Student Profile button:

  • Click on View My Advisee Listing link.

  • Click on Email All:
    Email All Screenshot
    • Or Click the Filter option to choose only those students who are currently active.

This will create an email in which the selected advisees are all BCC'd. They will be unable to see other email recipients.
