Mitel - Portal Password and Pin Reset

Introduction
The Mitel Web portal is a web address where you can reset your Mitel Password, PIN and update settings. Although you do still have the option of setting a password specific to Mitel if you choose to, you are now able to log in to the portal as well as the MiCloud Chrome extension and Mitel application using your Empire State University credentials. You can manage your phone profile, change settings on your Mitel phone, manage your voicemail settings and messages in your Mitel office phone, for example, to confirm your E911(Emergency) location. You can also use the portal to change your E911 location whenever you are using your Mitel login (credentials) at another ESC office.

Mitel Single Sign On
Mitel is now offering Single Sign On (SSO) for their portal, as well as their MiCloud Chrome extension and the Mitel application. This means you can navigate to https://portal.shoretelsky.com/ and access the portal or log in to your phone just by using your Empire State University email address.
After entering your username (full email address), and clicking Next, you will have the option to select the Single Sign On button and it will bring you right to the portal or allow access to your Mitel phone application.
*Please Note: If you are not yet logged in to the university webpage, this will take you directly there and prompt for your SUNY Empire credentials.
You can also choose to login using the local Mitel account password by selecting the drop-down that says ‘Or use your Mitel credentials’. From there you will use the password that is unique to your Mitel account.

Reset Mitel Portal Password
In order to reset your voicemail pin, you will need to log into your Mitel account first.
- Go to portal.shoretelsky.com
- Enter your ESC Email Address as the username on the right side of the page.
- Click the 'Next' button.
- You will be asked to provide the password to log into your Mitel account. If you don't know the password, you will need to click on the 'Forgot Password' link below the form. This will generate a numerical code that will be Emailed to you so keep and eye out for a message with 'no-repy@mitel.io' in the subject line. Once the correct code is entered, you will be brought to a screen to create a new password.
- If you know your password, you will be brought directly to the main profile landing page for your Mitel account.

Reset Voicemail Pin
Follow these steps if you need to update your pin once you are logged into your Mitel profile.
1. Click on the Voicemail link located on the right side-bar of the main landing page.
2. Make sure the 'Phone' tab is selected which is indicated by a dark blue background color. Click on the 'Change Phone Pin' button to start the pin reset process.

3. Enter in the new pin number twice and click the 'ok' button.
You will be presented with a message that your pin was successfully reset and is ready for use.
