Teams Audio Calls

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click on the Calls option on the list on the left side of your Teams. Picture of a telephone receiver.
  3. On the top center, above the phone call log, you can choose what calls to see: All, Missed, Incoming, Outgoing and Voicemail.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. When you click on the voicemail message in the center column, the caller information and a transcript of the call, as well as a play option all show on the right side of the Teams window.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. On the “dial pad” side, you will see your work number – the full 10 digit “DID” or dedicated inbound dial number, and at the bottom, your work location. This should be dynamic and change with your current location.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Call Settings

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. To get to the Call Settings, go into Settings for Teams, in the upper right corner, to the left of your profile picture.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Click on the Calls tab in the Settings Window.  You will see many options for calls settings.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Adding Remote Location in Teams Calls for 911 Purposes

When working from home you need to set your location for the first time by following the directions below. Once you set your home location it will automatically switch between your work and home location depending on where you are at that moment.

  1. Click on location not detected.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  3. Click on Enter address manually. If you use the search for a location, it will only save it for about 15 minutes. You need to enter the address manually for it to permanently save your address.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. When you are done filling out all the required fields please click add at the bottom right.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. After clicking add you should now see your address where it once said location not detected.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
