Teams Audio Calls
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Click on the Calls option on the list on the left side of your Teams.
- On the top center, above the phone call log, you can choose what calls to see: All, Missed, Incoming, Outgoing and Voicemail.
- When you click on the voicemail message in the center column, the caller information and a transcript of the call, as well as a play option all show on the right side of the Teams window.
- On the “dial pad” side, you will see your work number – the full 10 digit “DID” or dedicated inbound dial number, and at the bottom, your work location. This should be dynamic and change with your current location.
Call Settings
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- To get to the Call Settings, go into Settings for Teams, in the upper right corner, to the left of your profile picture.
- Click on the Calls tab in the Settings Window. You will see many options for calls settings.
- To record a custom greeting go the the Manage Voicemail option.
Adding Remote Location in Teams Calls for 911 Purposes
When working from home you need to set your location for the first time by following the directions below. Once you set your home location it will automatically switch between your work and home location depending on where you are at that moment.
- Click on location not detected.
- Click on Add.
- Click on Enter address manually. If you use the search for a location, it will only save it for about 15 minutes. You need to enter the address manually for it to permanently save your address.
- When you are done filling out all the required fields please click add at the bottom right.
- After clicking add you should now see your address where it once said location not detected.
