Configure Video Quiz Settings
The quiz editor groups its settings into three tabs: Details, Scores, and Experience.
Details
Select the Details tab.
The following options are available:
- Quiz Name: Update the title of the quiz.
- Welcome Message: Revise or delete the message participants see before starting. To remove the welcome screen entirely, clear the Show Welcome Page option.
- Allow Download of Questions List: It permits participants to download the quiz questions before beginning. When this setting is enabled, a Download Pre-test button appears on the welcome page. Participants can download a PDF containing the questions and available answer choices.
- Instructions: Modify the directions shown to participants.
Scores
Select the Scores tab.
The following settings can be adjusted:
Allow Multiple Attempts
Allow participants to complete the quiz more than once, and choose which result will be recorded:
- Highest attempt
- Lowest attempt
- Most recent attempt
- First attempt
- Average of all attempts
When the welcome page is turned on, it will display the number of attempts participants are permitted.
After participants submit the quiz, they are directed to a Submitted page showing their final result.
Note: If participants select Retake, they will not be able to review the answers from their previous attempt.
- Do Not Show Scores: Participants receive a thank-you message after submitting the quiz, but their score is not displayed.
- Show Scores: Participants can view their quiz score after submission.
- Include Answers: Participants can review which responses were correct or incorrect, along with any explanations added when the quiz was created.
Select Revert to Defaults to restore the original score settings.
Experience
Select the Experience tab.
The following options are available:
- Allow Answers Change: Participants may revise their responses before submitting the quiz.
- Allow Skip: Displays a Skip for Now button, allowing participants to return to the question later.
- Do Not Allow Skip: Requires participants to answer each question before moving forward.
- No Seeking Forward: Prevents participants from using the seek bar to move past portions of the video they have not yet watched.
