This form is used to request a new project that requires the services of an ITS Project Manager. The information provided in this form will be forwarded to the Chief Information Officer and Vice President for Integrated Technologies for evaluation and follow-up. Requests are reviewed weekly, and initial feedback will be provided within one week. If you have any questions, please email projectinfo@sunyempire.edu.
What is a project?
A project is a request that is a unique, one-time effort that has a start and an end date.
Will include at least one of the following:
- Integration of major systems or data
- Involves multiple departments/divisions or multiple departments within one division
- Major dependencies or inter-related work
- Medium to High Impact on Operations
- Medium to High Risk to the University
- Medium to High Visibility to the University
- Requires oversight/coordination
- Requirements are complex or difficult
- Time requirement is 3 or more months
