Introduction
The Meet Your Instructor widget that is located on the homepage of every course can be edited with your personalized information to allow students to get to know you better.
Meet Your Instructor
- On the Course Homepage, go to the widget labeled Instructor Profile.
- In the upper right-hand corner of the Instructor Profile area of the widget, click on the ellipses (...), then Edit to add your profile.
- Tip: If you would like to quickly remove the social media icons, simply delete the links (URL's) in the associated fields and save (as noted in step 7 below).
- Enter text for Heading Text and Display Name.
- To add your Picture, click on the upload button and select the image that you would like to use.
- In the About Me textbox, place any information you would like in there.
- Please note: that you are limited to 32 characters which includes spaces.
- In the next textbox, enter a short bio.
- Please note: that you are limited to 240 characters which includes spaces.
- If you would like to include links to your social media profiles, enter your Facebook link and/or Twitter information. Once saved, these links will appear as icons, and you can click on the icon to get to the associated page.
- Please note: that if you do not want these icons and to appear, you can remove the link(s) in each of the boxes so that the links and icons will no longer show when saved.
- Once you have added your information, click Save at the top of widget.
