Reset or Reboot a Desk Phone

Introduction
Occasionally you will need to reboot or reset your Mitel desk phone after a power outage, or anytime the phone was unplugged from a power source or the network. If your telephony profile is not loaded on your phone, or the phone lights are blinking or frozen on, the reset detailed below will often resolve the issue and preserve your phone settings.
To Reboot Your Phone
Press the Mute button on your phone (microphone with a slash through it)
1. Type the following number sequence usingthe key pad of the phone 7 3 7 3 8 #
2. Press the Reset soft key on the phone
3. The phone will cycle through the reboot process taking Wait a minute or two to complete.
4. Your profile should automatically assign to your phone. If it does not:
o Press the Options Softkey on the phone.
o Press the Assign Softkey.
o Enter your Extension and Voicemail Password.
