Sometimes, text is too small to read or a webpage is too large to navigate properly on your screen.  In these cases it's useful to know how to adjust the displayed size of a webpage to make reading and / or navigating easier.

Windows: Hold the Control (Ctrl) key and tap the Plus (+) key

Each time you tap the Plus (+) key the page will incrementally increase in size.

To Shrink the Size of a Webpage

If you have increased the size of the page too much, or your screen is simply too small and you're finding that parts of the page aren't fitting onto your screen properly, you can shrink the page to fit your screen better with the following key combination:

Windows: Hold the Control (Ctrl) key and tap the Minus (-) key

Mac: Hold the Command (

Each time you tap the minus (-) key the elements on the page will incrementally decrease in size making the whole page easier to view on your screen.

Windows: Hold the Control (Ctrl) key and tap the Zero (0) key
