Embedding a Video in a Brightspace Page with Insert Stuff

Introduction

Media that has been added to your My Media section can be embedded in any Brightspace page where text can be inserted using the HTML editor. For example, faculty can embed a video in a page, in an announcement, in a discussion thread, or in the description of an assignment. This article will detail how to embed a LEARNscape video.

Embed a LEARNscape Video

  1. Click the Insert Stuff button in the HTML editor. It is is a button with a small Play, Pause, Circle and Square. This will open a dropdown of content that can be inserted.
  2. Choose the second option titled Embed Learnscape Media.
  3. A window will load listing all of your MyMedia videos.
  4. Choose Embed - Video will show as embedded in the page.
