Using Insert Quicklink to Embed a LEARNscape Video in Brightspace

Introduction

This article will cover the steps to add a hyperlink to a video you have created from your LEARNscape MyMedia into Brightspace. A LEARNscape video can be inserted as a hyperlink within any space in a Brightspace course where you work within the HTML editing toolbar.

Steps to Insert

• Upon choosing the Insert Quicklink button in an HTML editor box, scroll down to the Third Party options for adding.
• Choose the second option, Embed Learnscape Media.
• Your MyMedia will open. Here you can create a new video by choosing Add New or scroll the list of videos you have already uploaded to LEARNscape.
• At the video you wish to add, choose Embed.
• You will now see the video as a hyperlink in the HTML page.
• Upon choosing Save, the video will open to play in a new browser tab when clicked on.
