Introduction
In Brightspace, it is possible to manually grade longer assignments with an analytic rubric, for long answer and essay questions. This article will walk you through the manual grading process with an analytic rubric. Please note it is assumed that you already have analytic rubric(s) created in your course.
Assignments, discussions, and grade items can have multiple rubrics attached. However, only one can be used as the grading rubric, which will be tied to the grade in the gradebook.
Grading with a Default (Single) Rubric
While grading activities, if you select an analytic rubric with multiple criteria, you must score it manually.
