Understanding Your Account eStatement

Relevant to: students, staff, faculty.

Introduction

Your eStatement provides you with a Snapshot-in-Time PDF-Record of your student account—much like a monthly credit card bill. Below will instruct you first on how to access your eStatement in the Touchnet Portal found on the Student Accounts homepage and second how to read the eStatement.

From the MySUNYEmpire Student Portal, click on Student Accounts

Student home page with Student Accounts icon indicated

Click on TouchNet Portal

The following images capture the eStatement where you can review your charges and payments for the term that is dated. Note: the Current Billed Balance is the amount that is owed.

If you are a student who has set up Federal and/or State aid, you will see it under Current Payments and the dollar amounts in the Credits column.

Review your Memo Items. If you are on a Time Payment Plan, you will see your anticipated payment amount here.

NOTE: Your anticipated payments under the Time Payment Plan are not reflected where it reads “Total Amount Due.” This will be displayed under Memo Items and will be your Current Due Balance.
