Understanding Your Account eStatement

Introduction

Your eStatement provides you with a Snapshot-in-Time PDF record of your student account—much like a monthly credit card bill. Below will instruct you first on how to access your eStatement in the TouchNet Portal found on the Student Accounts homepage and second how to read the eStatement.

Access Your eStatement

  1. From the MySUNYEmpire Student Portal, click on Student Accounts.

  2. Click on TouchNet Portal.

  3. In “Statements,” click View Statements.

  4. Next, click View to open the PDF eStatement.

Read Your eStatement

The images below capture the eStatement where you can review your charges and payments for the term that is dated. Note: the Current Billed Balance is the amount that is owed.

If you are a student who has set up Federal and/or State aid, you will see it under Current Payments and the dollar amounts in the Credits column.

Review your Memo Items. If you are on a Time Payment Plan, you will see your anticipated payment amount here.

Note: Your anticipated payments under the Time Payment Plan are not reflected where it reads “Total Amount Due.” They are displayed under Memo Items as your Current Due Balance.
