Account Domain Change - May 4, 2024

What is happening?

The university will change your email domain from @esc.edu to @sunyempire.edu.

Your sunyempire.edu email will now become the primary email domain and esc.edu will become an alias. 

Email sent to @esc.edu will be received, even after the change.

The following applications/services will be impacted:

• OneDrive and SharePoint Links Must be Accessed Via the Web 
  • Bookmarks and email links created prior to the domain change will no longer work and you may need to recreate them. Links and bookmarks created after May 4 will work.

• OneNote Notebook Syncing Will be Impacted for Personal Notebooks

• Wireless Network Login Will be Required at SUNY Empire Locations on All Devices
  • Users who want to use the university’s WiFi must connect to ‘SUNYEmpire’ on their devices.

• Mitel Phone and Contact Center Login May be Impacted
  • Please contact the Service Desk (https://help.sunyempire.edu/) or visit the Mitel Drop-In Session between 8:30 and 11 a.m. on May 6 if you experience issues with your Mitel account.
